Enough about us, let’s talk about you and this fantastic Assistant Manager / Manager role:
This is a hybrid role, working across both Business Services and Tax Advisory.
• We’ll allocate you a client base with a mixture of client groups that are interesting & diverse, and you will have an ability to foster fantastic client relationships
• You will anticipate and ensure that client needs are attended to quickly with up-to-date and accurate advice, you know how to make a client feel the love!
• You will have solid experience in researching and writing detailed tax advice using a variety of industry resources. Your ability to translate complex tax regulations into clear, actionable insights and written advice will be essential for helping our clients succeed.
• You enjoy having a lot to do and gain energy from being busy, but without compromising accuracy. We also understand you have a life outside of work
• You will mentor a team of exceptional up & coming accountants that are effective and consistent in delivering great results – they are also great people!
• You are happy to work collaboratively with our entire team to deliver on our business deadlines and team goals
• You’ll get involved in Advisory projects across the Business, Strategic and Tax services, and drive innovation in Business Services methodologies
• You need to be CA or CPA qualified, have experience working for a Chartered Accounting firm and have Advanced Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with PowerPoint, Word and of course, Xero

FMA Partners are seeking someone to fulfil our Office Administrator & Personal Assistant hybrid role, based full time in our soon to be Cronulla Beach HQ (currently Caringbah HQ).

We have an incredible team of people across our Caringbah & CBD offices, which is growing all the time—we are definitely not your average accounting firm, which you’ll see for yourself when we meet!
About the Role:
This pivotal position involves providing comprehensive support to our vibrant team and contributing to the smooth operation of the business. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who thrives on variety and takes pride in delivering exceptional results for both the team and our clients.
You’ll support on a wide range of administrative tasks across our internal business operations including marketing across all platforms. Any experience in ASIC/corporate secretarial is a bonus. If you are proactive, love keeping things organised, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
Diverse administration support, including:
Preparation of invoices and internal finance assistance
Marketing including drafting of social media, EDM’s and blog content
Internal project support, as and when required
Overflow assistance on incoming phone calls and drafting of documents
Assist with Corporate Secretarial Duties
Provide efficient diary and inbox management support to one of our directors
About You:
Prior experience in a similar administration role; any background in accounting or finance is a plus, particularly with ASIC & Corporate Secretarial
Exceptional planning, organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
Highly developed written and verbal communication abilities
Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and confidentiality, especially when handling highly sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands
