  • Are you a Financial Reporting expert seeking an opportunity to branch into business services in a Dynamic Professional Services company?

    Enough about us, let’s talk about you and this exciting Financial Reporting Accountant role:

    • We’ll allocate you a client base with a mixture of client groups that are interesting & diverse, and you will have an ability to foster fantastic client relationships. You will work within our business services division, being responsible for financial statements and tax compliance.

    • You have extensive knowledge of AASB accounting standards and financial statement disclosures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 reporting, demonstrated either in a commercial environment or in a professional accounting firm

    • You will anticipate and ensure that client needs are attended to quickly with up-to-date and accurate advice, you know how to make a client feel the love!

    • You enjoy having a lot to do and gain energy from being busy, but without compromising accuracy. We also understand you have a life outside of work

    • You are happy to work collaboratively with our entire team to deliver on our business deadlines and team goals

    • You’ll get involved in Advisory projects across the Business, Strategic and Tax services, and drive innovation in Business Services methodologies

    • You need to be CA or CPA qualified and have Advanced Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with PowerPoint, Word and of course, Xero

    • You will get to work alongside our SMSF Client Manager on all self-managed superannuation funds within the business and some of the members personal tax affairs

    • You will have an ability to foster fantastic client relationships

    • You will anticipate and ensure that client needs are attended to quickly with up-to-date and accurate superannuation advice, you know how to make a client feel the love!

    • You enjoy having a lot to do and gain energy from being busy, but without compromising accuracy. We also understand you have a life outside of work

    • You are happy to work collaboratively with our entire team to deliver on our business deadlines and team goals

    • You need to be CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion), and have experience working for a Chartered Accounting firm

    • You will have advanced Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with Word, PowerPoint and of course, SMSF Accounting Software

    • You’ll get involved in Advisory projects across the Business, Strategic and Tax services, and drive innovation in Business Services methodologies

    • You need to be CA or CPA qualified, have experience working for a Chartered Accounting firm and have Advanced Excel skills, plus be more than dangerous with PowerPoint, Word and of course, Xero

    Experience in tax advisory or financial reporting (under AASB) is an added bonus!

    FMA Partners are seeking an Administration Assistant to support our wonderful admin department and expert team of accountants! This is a 6 month contract with the ability to become permanent.

    We specialise in providing the very best in Business, Strategic & Tax advice, and pride ourselves on bringing the WOW to our clients on a daily basis.

    We have an incredible team of people at our Caringbah office which is growing all the time (we are definitely not your average accounting firm which you will see for yourself when we meet!).

    About the role:

    We want someone who will love the opportunity to be the first point of contact at our office, both for incoming calls and greeting our clients in person.

    You will provide support to our team & clients and make sure that everything in our office runs smoothly every day - including scanning documents and preparing letters for our team. Having an eye for detail is a must!

    It would e great if you have 1-3 years of office administration experience but what is really important is your attitude. We want someone who is highly motivated and is passionate about delivering the best for our clients.

    You must be rock solid with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word & Excel.
